Elizabeth is a freelance magazine and wedding photographer and commercial photography producer. Born and raised in Idaho, she is especially passionate about capturing the many faces of the West.

Searching for the story from behind the viewfinder excites Elizabeth. For her eighteenth birthday, Elizabeth’s father gave her a film SLR 35-millimeter camera, a late-1980’s model Nikon, much like his father had done 30 years before. That’s all it took. Elizabeth immediately fell in love with the art of telling stories through film. Today, Elizabeth is drawn to stories that allow her to capture people, their stories and strong connection to place.

Elizabeth’s passion for the human story and the plight of children around the globe convinced her to play a role in the creation of a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young people in need, Create for our Children (www.createforourchildren.org). She is a board member of the organization, which is the brainchild of her childhood friend Kristen Albright of Ketchum, Idaho. Elizabeth designed and laid out From a Smile Falls a Laugh, a children’s book of poetry that was Create for our Children’s first project.

A semester spent studying abroad at the National University of Ireland contributed to Elizabeth’s love of travel. While living in Ireland, she bartended at Cassidy’s Roost, a locals’ pub in Maynooth where the stories of the town’s characters were always enlivened with the slinging of pints.

Elizabeth received a B.A. in Public Relations with a Minor in Advertising from Central Washington University.
